Ladies Programs

The ladies of Living Faith Fellowship meet once a month for fellowship.

Each month, a lady picks the day and time to invite the rest of the ladies to her home. She may do the teaching or ask another lady to share. Ladies meetings should be more than a time of discussion; it should be a time of developing into a 'member' of the church. Ladies group is a place for each individual to grow and experience the POWER of unity! "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor." Eccl. 4:9

Believe it or not, this verse is not only about marriage! How does this apply to your relationship with your family, friends, spouse, coworkers, people at church. HOSPITALITY; "A plan in the heart of a man is like deep water. But a man of understanding draws it out." Prov. 20:5  That is why our monthly Ladies Meetings are held in our homes. It is very good training to serve and open one's home to the fellowship of each other. Guests are always welcomed.

Some of the things usually covered are:
1. Housekeeping = Sometimes women can spot things that need doing in the church before it is obvious to the men;
2. Calendar = a look ahead of specific activities makes it easier for planning;
3. Reviewing of ministries = we need to be sensitive to those that are always doing and let someone else learn that ministry;
4. Practice your testimonies with each other to become confident in articulating what the Lord has done for you; and
5. Pray = "The effective prayers of a righteous man (woman) can accomplish much." James 5:16

The following are titles of teachings that were given:
1. Is there a Mother in the house?
2. God's purposes for Wrinkles
3. NOW
4. Crowns
5. Personal Testimonies
6. Writing in Ladies Journal
and many more

Anyone interested in more details may get the notes. "Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the day approaching." Heb. 10:24-25

Calling all LFF Ladies
For a while now, I have had a desire to see the ladies of LFF have a more intimate level of relating with each other. I love to see the new ladies be embraces by all. We also have some shy ones that need a little attention.

With that in mind, be prepared to call and be called. Some highlights of some definite benefits for our efforts:

1. Woman live better when connected to other good women. “As iron sharpens iron…a man’s FACE sharpens another.” ~Prov. 27:17

2. Women succeed together - Team Oriented. “And he said, be it far from me, O Lord, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.” ~2 Samuel 12:17 We have more than three mighty women.

3. Women need to FIND a place to BELONG and UNITE! “And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me that they may be one, as we are.” ~John 17:11 God built us to be CONNECTED: to Him, to other believers, to other women. “Your own friend, and your father’s friend, forsake not;” ~Prov. 27:10

4. Women need to pray for each other - SPECIFICALLY.  “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” ~James 5:16 “Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” ~Acts 12:5 Make a time together (that will be a challenge, but doable if only with a few) weekly for prayer. Pray over specific battles; find a Bible verse to discuss and apply; comment on “Unglued” accountability and encouragement; begin and end in a timely manner (for those that cannot meet, make regular phone calls).

I am very excited to see how God will bind us together as we make more time for each other and see the purposes we have in LFF as the mighty women of God. Encourage me by relating your fruits. …In His Grip, Maria
